Summer Jobs at Hy-Line!

This summer on the Cape is expected to be busy. We are seeing better days ahead! We can already feel it in the air – businesses are scrambling to get ready, beaches are filling up, and more people are out and about. There is a sunshiney-lightness all around. That is Cape Cod in the summer.

People are planning. Day trips, weekend getaways, month-long vacations. Cape Cod and the Islands… the perfect destination. Its close proximity to many metropolitan areas and abundance of safe, fun, and beautiful outdoor activities are what makes the Cape so appealing. Many hotels and vacation rentals are seeing an increase in bookings from last year. We are also seeing an uptick in customer inquiries and reservations. It’s sure to be an unforgettable summer for businesses and visitors alike. Most of all, we look forward to seeing many familiar faces again this summer!

Job Opportunities at Hy-Line

As we anticipate a busy season, we need summer employees more than ever. You could be the perfect fit!  You will find a more family-like atmosphere. Everyone looks out for each other. People of all ages and backgrounds come together to make it work. We are not going to lie, the workdays are busy; but it is fun interacting with the public assisting them with their needs as they embark on a much-needed getaway to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard. Or they may be enhancing their Cape Cod vacation on a Harbor Cruise, Fishing Trip or Canal Cruise.

There are countless opportunities. You can work on board a vessel, or even dockside. Be a deckhand, a ticket agent, a shuttle bus driver, a bartender, a security officer. There’s nothing like being a part of the Hy-Line family. We can’t tell you how many times we hear, “Hey, I worked there when I was a kid.” Or “Wow, I know someone who worked there for the summer.” Hy-Line has been around for more than 50 years, so yeah, that’s a thing. Also on board, we are looking for concessionaires and bartenders. Dockside we are looking for reservation/ticket agents, parking attendants, dock staff.
