HYANNIS

Deckhands
Seasonal, full time positions on our fleet of vessels.  Positive demeanor and great customer service skills required, minimum age requirement eighteen (18), post offer/pre-employment and random drug screening mandatory for all crew.

IT Support Technician
Summer seasonal – full time position.   

Summary:  The IT support technician works with customers and employees to troubleshoot issues and work on new or updated installs.  Some evening and weekend work may be required along with local travel.  Working collaboratively with our current support technician, and under the direction of the IT Manager, this position will support systems at our land locations, including systems located on Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard and onboard our vessels.

Requirements:  IT support background with strong technical skills and the ability to explain complex information in simple and clear terms.  Critical thinking and analytical skills required.  Three years’ experience with the following:  Microsoft desktop Operating Systems including Windows 10, Windows 7, Microsoft Server systems including Server 2008 and 2012; experience supporting printers, scanners, and other peripherals; working knowledge of ESX servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.  Five years’ experience with Microsoft Office, or Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. 

MARTHA’S VINEYARD – All applicants must have on-island housing.

Ticket Agents
Seasonal, part-time positions.  Customer service background, STRONG computer skills, must be able to work evenings and weekends.

NANTUCKET – All applicants must have on-island housing.

Dock Staff
Seasonal, schedules and hours vary.  Must assist with ferry arrivals and departures, including the organization of passengers, luggage, and bicycles. Must also maintain cleanliness of dock area and handling of boat lines.
