How may we help you?

Traveling to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard is easy! One-on-one assistance is available for those in need who are traveling with Hy-Line. Every situation is unique, so if one is concerned about accessibility issues and convenience please call ahead (800-492-8082) to ask any questions you may have.

All high-speed ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard are handicapped accessible to board; however, not all decks are handicapped accessible. All high-speed ferries have handicapped-accessible restrooms.

All other vessels are handicapped accessible to board, but do not have handicapped-accessible restrooms.

If you need assistance with your wheelchair, we are happy to help when boarding and disembarking.

All ticket sales areas are hard surfaces such as concrete or pavement; you will encounter dirt or gravel surfaces in most of our parking lots. Upon arrival, make our staff aware of your needs and we will try our best to accommodate you or others you are traveling with who need assistance.

We offer a limited number of handicapped parking spaces about 100 yards away from the Hyannis Ticket Office. When making your reservations by phone, don’t forget to mention your needs so we can discuss how to best help you. Pre-boarding is also available for those who need assistance with wheelchairs, walkers, baby strollers, etc.

Special Assistance

“Dear Scudder Family,
Yesterday, as Foster was making his exit off of the boat, he suddenly went down on both knees. I wanted you to know that before I could even reach him, your crew member was right by his side helping him up! He was fine – got right up with your terrific crew member’s help. Everything happened so very fast. As I have always told everyone, you have an amazing crew. Not only are they well-trained, but also show compassion to the senior citizens.”
