Position Description: Shuttle Bus Driver
Reports to: Parking Manager or On-Duty Parking Supervisor
Location: Hyannis MA
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Human Resources: Cheryl Barrows

Afternoon Shift (Wednesdays & Weekends) 2:30pm – 10:30pm

Summary:

Shuttle drivers are responsible for the safe, efficient transportation of customers to and from Hy‑Line’s terminal area to their off-site parking lots in Hyannis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driving company provided 14 passenger bus.
• Picking up/dropping off passengers based on ferry schedules or as needed.
• Assisting passengers with loading/unloading their luggage.
• General clean-up of bus (sweeping and emptying trash) at end of shift.
• Refueling bus with company proved credit card.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Other Duties

May also be assigned as parking lot attendant or other duties as needed.

Licenses, Registrations, and/or Certifications:

Current driver’s license with clean driving record.

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent. No CDL required.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.  Safely perform the essential duties for the position, with or without, reasonable accommodation.

Typical Work Environments:

Harbor, Maritime Environment and roadways.

Minimum 18 years of age
