Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Salary: starting at $19.00 per hour
Shift type: Full time, Seasonal
Human Resources: Cheryl Barrows

Summary:

Bartender/Counter staff work at our shoreside Café, The Landing.  This is a responsible, demanding but fun job with an opportunity to meet a wide range of interesting people.  Bartenders are under the direct supervision of the Food & Beverage Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Licenses, Registrations, and/or Certifications:

None.

Required Education and Experience:

Minimum age 18
Prior bartender experience required.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to read, understand, and follow through with simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
Ability to perform work tasks that require bending, stooping climbing, and reaching.
Basic math skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to safely perform the essential duties for the position, with or without, reasonable accommodation.

Typical Work Environments:

Harbor, marine (maritime) environment, indoor cafe with patio and upper deck.
